How Our Services Support Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care
Because dementia looks different for everyone, our three flexible care options allow families to choose the level of support that fits their loved one’s stage, symptoms, and schedule.
On-Demand Care Services
On-Demand Care is a great way to ease into support, especially in the early stages of memory loss. Families can introduce a caregiver gradually—starting with short visits for outings, appointments, or light companionship while the primary caregiver runs errands. It also provides much-needed respite without requiring a structured schedule. This low-pressure option helps clients build familiarity and trust with the care team over time.

Targeted Care Services
Targeted Care is ideal for clients who need support at key times of day, but who may be overwhelmed by too much change at once. Scheduled visits can be tailored to focus on specific parts of the routine—like help with personal care in the morning, medication reminders, meal preparation, or evening support to wind down. These visits provide structure without overstimulation, helping maintain comfort, routine, and a sense of control.

Companion Care Services
Companion Care is best suited for clients in more advanced stages of dementia who need continuous supervision and support. A dedicated caregiver helps with everything from redirection and engagement to personal care and safety monitoring. This level of care is especially valuable for families needing daily relief or navigating complex behaviors at home.

Caregiver Training
Tandem Care caregivers are trained to work with clients experiencing memory loss and cognitive decline. They learn how to de-escalate agitation, offer redirection, follow dementia-informed communication techniques, and provide consistent, reassuring care. Our real-time portal allows families to stay informed and involved, even when they can’t be there in person.
