Stroke
Structured, compassionate care to help clients regain independence and confidence after a stroke.
Recovering from a stroke can be overwhelming—for both the individual and their family. From mobility challenges to communication difficulties, the path to recovery often requires daily support that goes beyond what rehab facilities or home health services provide. We offer personalized, non-medical assistance to help stroke survivors rebuild routines, reduce risks, and maintain dignity at home.
Common Challenges
After a Stroke
Recovery needs vary widely, but many stroke survivors experience:
Partial paralysis or weakness on one side of the body
Difficulty with speech, swallowing, or communication
Fatigue, confusion, or emotional changes
Risk of falls and re-hospitalization
Trouble with dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks
Missed therapy or follow-up appointments due to transportation needs

How Our Services Support Stroke Recovery at Home
Our flexible care model allows families to start with as little or as much support as they need—whether a client is coming home from rehab, adjusting to new limitations, or needing help with longer-term care routines.
On-Demand Care Services
On-Demand Care is ideal for short-term help following hospital or rehab discharge. A caregiver can assist with bathing, mobility, light meals, or provide transportation to physical, occupational, or speech therapy appointments. This flexible option offers critical support during the early weeks of recovery or as a supplement to home health services.

Targeted Care Services
Targeted Care works well for clients who need structured support at specific times of day. Morning visits can assist with getting dressed and starting therapy exercises. Afternoon or evening visits may include help with meals, medication reminders, or mobility support. These focused visits help reinforce recovery routines and reduce fall risk.

Companion Care Services
Companion Care is best for clients who need full-day supervision and support, particularly those with lasting impairments or cognitive challenges after a stroke. A dedicated caregiver provides hands-on help with personal care, mobility, and safety—while offering consistent, encouraging companionship that can aid emotional recovery as well.

Caregiver Training
Our caregivers are trained to support stroke survivors with patience and respect. They learn how to assist safely with transfers, encourage independence, and recognize when someone may need additional medical attention. Our care coordinators remain closely involved to ensure each client’s plan evolves with their recovery progress, and families stay informed through our real-time client portal.
