On-Demand Care
Professional caregiver support available when you need it, without a standing weekly schedule. On-Demand is a strong fit for seniors in La Jolla, Del Mar, or Coronado who live independently but benefit from periodic help with errands, appointments, personal care, or simply having a trusted presence in the home.
Continuous Care
Extended, multi-shift care for clients who need sustained daily support — without the compromises of a live-in arrangement. Continuous Care is common among families managing post-hospitalization recovery following a stay at Scripps, UC San Diego Health, or Sharp, progressive neurological conditions, or advanced care needs requiring professional oversight throughout the day and night.

You'll never be handed off to a general scheduling line. Each Tandem client is supported by a named Care Coordinator who manages day-to-day logistics and a Care Manager who oversees clinical quality and continuity. These are people your family will know — and can reach.
W-2 caregivers, not independent contractors.
Every Tandem caregiver is a W-2 employee — trained, supervised, and accountable to our standards of care. This isn't a staffing platform. It's a care agency, and that distinction matters when you're inviting someone into your loved one's home.
